Enabling schools to build capacity for sustainable school improvement as measured by student outcomes
Luton Borough Council aims for all children and young people to attend a school which is good or better. Our school improvement service level agreements focus on enabling schools to build capacity for sustainable school improvement as measured by student outcomes, Ofsted judgements and other external measures. The service provides opportunities to develop school to school support as well as in-school support. School Improvement Advisers (SIAs) work with leadership teams to ensure rigorous school improvement has the impact needed to develop outstanding practice. Teaching and Learning Consultants work with teachers and middle leaders to develop outstanding practice that will help raise standards and improve the learning experience for all pupils.
