Special Educational Needs - Alternative Learning and Progression
Some vulnerable pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties find it difficult to access all mainstream activities. The Alternative Learning & Progression Service will offer practical support and advice, Personalised Learning Programmes, and bespoke training. By offering these early interventions for pupils with challenging behaviour, the risk of exclusion is decreased. As behaviours improve, the pupil is more likely to succeed in Mainstream, and is less likely to become NEET. (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
