NO LONGER RUNNING: Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking

Outline

Unseen's training is aimed at professionals whose work may bring them into contact with potential victims of slavery. Our training gives you the benefit of our decade's experience of working on the issue at every level.

Description

This session will provide delegates with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking. You will reflect upon the vulnerabilities of children and young people and how these vulnerabilities may present within an educational setting.

Frontline: Modern Slavery Training is for you if you are a professional and may come into contact with slavery in the course of your work. You will develop greater knowledge of the law around modern slavery and human trafficking as well as what it looks like in real life. You will learn how to spot the signs of exploitation, and what you can do if you come into contact with a potential victim. And you will explore the issues facing individuals who have been trafficked and enslaved and find out what support is available.

This training is funded for Luton settings.

Where participants have registered and are accepted onto courses there is an expectation they will cancel their place, via the schoolsupport.luton.gov.uk website (within forty eight hours Mon-Fri of the course start time) if they are unable to attend. Failure to do so will result in being charged £25 for the delegate place.

Delegates who attend this session without booking a place will be charged £25 administration fee per person.
