This course provides an opportunity for all staff working in out of school educational settings to draw upon research and learning from Serious Case Reviews and consider the safety of the culture within the organisations they work.

This course is valid for 3 years before it will need to be updated, and is fully funded. Where participants have registered and are accepted onto courses there is an expectation they will cancel their place, via the schoolsupport.luton.gov.uk website (within forty eight working hours Mon-Fri of the course start time) if they are unable to attend. Failure to do so will result in being charged £25 for the delegate place. Delegates who attend this session without booking a place will be charged £25.00 per place.
- recognise the types of adult behaviours that should cause concern
- implement the Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures for the organisation in order to safeguard children
- reflect upon the features of a safer organizational cultures and their role within it in
- describe the processes involved in managing an allegation or concern and demonstrate understanding of the roles within the multi-agency process
