These network meetings will explore the use of research findings and proven strategies to improve the quality of your children’s learning in science
The purpose of these network meetings is to keep science subject leaders abreast of current issues relating to the teaching of the national curriculum and improve whole school practice. Each session will focus on relevant information such as: - local and national updates
- sharing good practice KS1 – KS2
- resources
- improve subject knowledge
There will be a focus on developing practical classroom approaches and strategies as well as opportunities to reflect and network with colleagues. Other Primary Science Network meetings/dates are: 23/11/2017 (www.schoolsupport.luton.gov.uk/Event/49227) and 07/06/2018 (www.schoolsupport.luton.gov.uk/Event/49241). Places need to be booked on each individual session. Cost per person: Training Subscription SLA/£67.50. Everyone else will be charged £87.50. Where participants have registered and are accepted onto courses there is an expectation they will cancel their place, via the schoolsupport.luton.gov.uk website (within forty eight hours of the course start time) if they are unable to attend. Failure to do so will result in being charged for the delegate place. Delegates who attend this session without booking a place will be charged £25.00 administration fee per person in addition to the course fee.
